Mrs Macquarie's Chair is a famous sandstone rock cut into the shape of a bench in the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney. It was carved by convicts in 1810 for Governor Macquarie's wife, Elizabeth, to enjoy panoramic views of Sydney Harbour.
